“Critical and participatory media education […]” is the title with which Eloísa Nos Aldás presented the scientific transfer proposal that she shares with the URJC researcher Víctor Sampedro at the III Conference of Media Education and Digital Competence, held on the campus María Zambrano at the University of Valladolid, in Segovia, June 16-18, 2017. In particular, the UJI colleague stressed the need to rethink both media education and the creativity of the new generations of communication professionals on the basis of feminism in order to subvert the androcentric imaginary. This meeting of researchers and teachers brought together more than 400 participants and was followed by more than 1,700 people from all over the world thanks to online streaming.
