PhD from Jaume I University and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Spanish Studies (University of Stirling, UK). Her research centres on the analysis of the representation of gender violence in Spanish cinema, the main focus of her doctoral thesis, publications and conference presentations. This is also the area in which she develops her research in the present project, as a member of the UJI team, led by María José Gámez Fuentes, where she directs her attention to modalities of film representation that contribute to re-signifying the figure of the woman-victim.
